Perfect weather has been around for weeks. Sunny, wind to keep the bugs down, and 70 degrees. Nice! Water temp is warming up into the low 60s now. Fish are still shallow with trout being able to be in any depth yet but jigging is getting large catches over 40 feet of water. The DanContinue Reading

COLD water fishing

The fishing season started very late with the ice going out mid to late may. That means the trout started out scattered everywhere due to the cold water temps. Jigging was poor because the concentrations of trout were not there but trolling was working well with orange and gold spoons, diver vibes and small cranks.Continue Reading
