Canadian Wilderness Fly-in Fishing and Hunting Trips

High water is causing logs and debris

The hi water is causing a lot of logs and other things to be pulled off of the shore line. A boat hit a floating log a few days ago and completely ruined our stainless steel skag protector. It did save the lower unit which saved the 2 guys $1500, so be very careful. The skag protector alone will cost you $350, not to mention If you’re thrown out of the boat and killed. Drive properly and remember you’re in the Canadian wilderness with rocks and logs all over the place. Recently we’ve seen guests driving our boats full speed thru tiny openings in between islands, driving and standing up, and driving without the kill switch cord attached to themselves. All a very good way to kill yourself.
