Starting to get warmer up here in NW Ontario. Finally some green weeds are starting to come up and the water temp. is rising to almost where it should be for this time of year. Fishing has stayed strong. The John Owen group with Dan and Craig Sesseman caught the most and biggest fish they ever got in the last 5 years. They caught many walleye and northern on a brown spoon on the main lake. John a a FAT 38" northern and they also caught tons of trout jigging. John and Craig will be back for bear hunting in september and we're looking forward to that.
The Craig Siverhus family was up again and did real well on northern in the main lake. Evan got a 40" fat northern and they had a few other really nice ones on. Finally taught them how to jig for lakers and they did real well. Jim celebrated his 79th birthday in camp and we're hoping to see him for at least another 20 years before he slows down.
Fishing has been real steady and soon the northern should be up on the reefs better.
