Very windy today in the worst direction for our pier, SSE. Hot and humid so for sure some bad weather will be coming. Fishing has slowed this week a little with the lake trout scattered so trolling was working better covering more area. Water temps are into the low 70's now which drives the trout deeper but soon they will be schooled up again. Dipsy divers with spoons have been working well and snap weight kits with 2-3oz of weight snapped on has been working good. The Greg Bolton group which comes year after year is leaving tomorrow and has done real well. 14 people have filled up with almost everything and tonight Im sure they will finish it up. They have caught more walleye in the main lake than ever before and Greg did real well in Crooked lake. Ron Dmonico' family did great in Rainmaker, catching over 50 northern in an afternoon. Tracy Nugents friend, Henri Paul and his son came from France and had a great time. They live in downtown Paris so the Canadian wilderness was quite an experience. Fishing this week is the slowest we've had so far this year but it was bound to happen with such great fishing for so long. Even slow, people have been going home with their limit. We need some stable weather and the fishing will kickstart again
