Our first guests arrived on Friday morning. We are still in the process of getting the camp fully open but we should be done very soon. Jake and Alex caught 13 trout in an hour this afternoon jigging in front of Patty's bay in 30' of water. Trout are deeper already this year because of such an early ice out. They still are scattered throughout the water column since we have caught some from the pier recently. Roy Rosbacka's group have been catching northern trolling spoons but nothing big yet. The portage trails and boats are almost all finished but we still need to put up our 2 new staff cabins. The new depth finders on the upgrade boats are working great and we just finished putting together the last of the new bbq grills for each cabin. Keep checking for further updates.
